Formative Assessment
Developing and promoting formative assessment strategies within the school was one strand of the School of Ambition Programme . Early on in the project, we looked at formative assessment strategies in two departments: English and Science. However, by the end of the three years, formative assessment strategies had been taken forward throughout the school. You can read about the work done by the RE department here.
Active Learning days were introduced to allow staff to demonstrate formative assessment and active learning approaches to other departments. Click here to find out more.
